Field Day

     The Lowndes County Amateur Radio Club participates in Field Day every year. This event is a chance for us to practice our operating skills for emergency communications and have some fun at the same time. The whole event is a practice in teamwork. Field Day is held the last weekend in June each year and lasts for a twenty four hour period.

     Field Day will be held June 25 & 26, 2011, this year we will be operating from the clubhouse on Lawrence Drive. We will be setting up antennas starting at 10AM and the event starts at 1PM. The club will be providing meals but you will need to bring your own drinks and snacks. It is sure to be a great time hope to see you there.
